CD305 Leukocyte-associated immunoglobulin-like receptor 1 (LAIR1) Protein
Protein information
Leukocyte associated immunoglobulin-like receptor-1 (LAIR-1), also known as CD305, is a transmembrane glycoprotein inhibitory receptor with a cytoplasmic tail containing two immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motifs (ITIMs). LAIR-1 has previously been shown to be expressed on almost all immune cells, including NK cells, T cells, B cells and monocytes, monocyte derived dendritic cells, eosinophils, basophils and mast cells, as well as on CD34+ hematopoietic progenitor cells, the majority of thymocytes, but also neutrophils upon activation.
