CD85g (LILRA4/ILT7) Antibody
Protein information
CD85g (LILRA4) is a member of leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor (LIR or LILR) gene family, also known as ILT7 (immunoglobulin-like transcript 7). Mature human LILRA4 consists of a 423 amino acid (aa) extracellular domain (ECD) with four immunoglobulin-like domains, a 21 aa transmembrane segment, and a 32 aa cytoplasmic domain. LILRA4 is expressed on plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDC) but is down-regulated in response to TLR9 signaling. Antibody mediated crosslinking of LILRA4 on pDC inhibits the production of type I interferons following TLR7 or TLR9 stimulation. Additionally, CD85g, along with CD123 and BDCA-2, can be used to identify or classify subsets of pDC along with TLR expression and TLR mediated immune responses.
